White Veins on Velvet
Clarinervium is the plant that made velvet Anthuriums popular: deep green, thick as card, and cut across with bright white veins. Compact enough for a shelf and slow enough to stay there.
Next Batch
This item is available to pre-order. The next dispatch schedule is below.
Before it reaches you
Tissue culture plants arrive at the studio sealed, and we keep them that way. Opening the bag lets air in and ends the sterile conditions the plantlet has been growing in, so the bag is not opened until it is in your hands.
We check every plant through the bag instead. We judge by the roots and the growing point rather than by appearances. A little leaf dieback inside a sealed bag is normal and does not mean the plant is unwell. What matters is a clean root system and a healthy centre.
Anything that does not meet that standard never leaves the studio. It is held back, not sent on.
If something goes wrong
If your plant declines within seven days of dispatch, email us a photo and we will send a replacement. Replacements go out with the next batch, so please allow some time for it to reach you.
You See Your Plant First
Every plant is photographed the day it is packed, and that photo reaches you before the parcel does.
Tissue culture varies from flask to flask, so you see the real plant rather than a stand-in photo.
What is Tissue Culture (TC)?
Grown in a lab from a single cutting, so every plant starts clean, pest free and true to type.
LEARN HOW TO TAKE CARE→Every Variety, One List
More than 200 varieties with prices, searchable by name. Faster than scrolling if you already know what you are after.
VIEW FULL LIST & PRICES→Custom Pre-Orders
Looking for something we do not carry? We order direct from the labs and can source it for you.
ENQUIRE FOR CUSTOM VARIETIES→Every plant is a living thing, not a mass-produced object. Small marks, minor scarring or slight asymmetry are part of its natural character rather than a fault. Listing photos are a guide, and the plant you receive will differ.
