When I wanted to propagate Philodendron Burle Marx Variegated, I wondered where to cut the stems. It is relatively easy to propagate, so please watch the video and make sure you don’t make a mistake where to cut.

What is Philodendron Burle Marx Variegated?

Philodendrons are popular as houseplants because they are easy to care for and have many unique and beautiful leaves.

Barlemalus philodendrons, in particular, have beautiful green and yellow coloration, making them a very nice interior plant to have in a room.

How to care for Philodendron Burle Marx Variegated ?

Light
Barligation plants basically need bright indirect light. They do not do well in dark areas (the burligation may revert back to its original state).
However, too much direct sunlight can cause sunburn and damage to the foliage.

Soil
A well-drained mixture of peat moss, coco coir, and perlite works well. Moderate aeration is required.

Temperature
Philodendrons prefer high humidity. To keep it beautiful, it is recommended to keep it above 60 degrees Celsius.

Water
Always use a perforated pot for the plant so that unwanted water can flow out. Like other philodendrons, it prefers moist soil.
If the soil dries out completely, this plant will not grow well, so check the soil regularly and water again when the top inch of soil is dry. Overwatering is easier than underwatering.

Foliage Care
I basically recommend wiping the leaves of the plant with a small amount of neem oil on a damp paper towel, front and back of the leaves and stems. The same is true of this plant.
Doing so will not only remove dust and keep the leaves looking beautiful, but will also prevent pest infestation.
