Because we work with living plants, we cannot accept standard returns for change of mind. However, if something is wrong with your order, we will always try to help.

When returns are not possible

We are not able to accept returns in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after the plant has arrived
  • Preference for a different pattern of variegation
  • Slight differences in size, shape or leaf count compared to the photos
  • Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect overall plant health

Every plant is unique, especially variegated varieties. Natural variation is expected and is part of what makes these plants special.

If there is a problem on arrival

If your plant arrives in poor condition or you believe there is a serious issue, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

When you contact us, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the plant
  • Photos of the outer packaging and shipping label

We will review each case individually and, depending on the situation, may offer:

  • A replacement plant (if a similar plant is available), or
  • A partial refund or store credit

Fresh-cut plants (cuttings)

We also sell fresh-cut plants (cuttings) for customers who enjoy propagation or prefer a more accessible way to own rare plants.

For each cutting, we describe the leaf condition, rooting status (if applicable) and any visible quirks honestly. Because cuttings are delicate and intended for propagation, we do not accept standard returns on cuttings.

If a cutting arrives in a clearly unsalvageable condition, please contact us within 24 hours with photos and your order number and we will do our best to help.

Cancellations before dispatch

You may request a cancellation within 48 hours of placing your order, as long as the plant has not yet been dispatched.

Once the plant has been dispatched, the order can no longer be cancelled. If you still wish to cancel at that stage, the round-trip shipping cost will need to be covered by the customer.

When we may cancel an order

If we notice a significant change in a plant’s health or appearance before shipping, we may:

  • Contact you to explain the situation honestly, and
  • Offer an alternative plant, a different date, or a full cancellation and refund

Once a plant arrives, its long-term health depends on the conditions in your home (light, temperature, watering, etc.). If you’re unsure how to care for a plant you bought from us, please feel free to ask – we’re happy to help.
