Scindapsus Maharlika

Scindapsus Maharlika is a striking and increasingly sought-after variety, known for its bold leaf texture,
deep green tones and elegant silver accents. The leaves have a thick, luxurious feel, giving the plant
a presence that stands out among other Scindapsus types. Each cutting shows its own character,
making this a fantastic choice for collectors who enjoy unique foliage plants.

This cutting comes from a healthy, stable mother plant with strong growth.
The roots are already well developed, allowing the plant to settle quickly once potted
into your preferred medium. It will be shipped carefully wrapped in moist moss to protect the root system
and ensure a smooth and healthy arrival.

A great opportunity to add a rare and visually impressive Scindapsus to your collection.
Do not miss the chance to welcome this beautiful Maharlika into your home.

Description

Scindapsus Maharlika care essentials

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Maharlika develops deeper colour and stronger leaf texture under good indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can cause leaf burn or fading.
  • Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of the soil to dry out before watering. Maharlika prefers lightly moist but well-drained conditions. Overwatering can lead to root rot, especially due to its thicker leaves and vines.
  • Humidity: Prefers humidity around 55–70%. Higher humidity supports larger leaf size and smoother texture, but it will tolerate normal indoor humidity if airflow is good.
  • Temperature: Thrives in the range of 18–27°C. Avoid exposure to cold drafts, air conditioners, or temperatures below 15°C for prolonged periods.
  • Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix. A blend of coco coir or peat, perlite or pumice, and orchid bark helps promote airflow and keeps roots healthy while preventing water retention.

Please note:
Plants are living organisms and their appearance can change naturally over time.
Variegated Scindapsus may show delicate or easily marked leaves, especially in strongly variegated areas.
This is normal and not a sign of poor health. As long as the roots remain healthy,
new leaves will continue to grow beautifully.

We do our best to pack every plant safely, but minor cosmetic damage may occasionally occur during transit.
Thank you for your understanding.
