Scindapsus Jade Satin Marble Queen care essentials
- Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Jade Satin types tolerate medium light but show stronger marbling and healthier growth in brighter indirect conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can mark or fade the variegation.
- Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of the soil to dry before watering. Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can cause yellowing and root issues, especially in thicker-leafed Jade Satin varieties.
- Humidity: Prefers humidity around 50–65%. Although it adapts to normal indoor humidity, slightly higher humidity keeps leaves smoother and promotes steady growth.
- Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 18–27°C. Avoid cold drafts, air conditioning airflow, or temperatures below 15°C for extended periods.
- Soil: A well-draining aroid mix is best. Use a blend of coco coir or peat, perlite/pumice, and orchid bark to support airflow around the roots and prevent compaction.
