About BOTANISQ
BOTANISQ is a small independent plant studio based in the UK, specialising in premium variegated and rare indoor plants. Every plant is carefully sourced, cleaned and packed by hand, so that it arrives at your home in the best possible condition.
How we started
We started BOTANISQ after experiencing the same frustration many plant lovers have: the plant that arrives often looks very different from the photos online.
Our goal is simple – to deliver plants that look as beautiful in your home as they do in the photos.
How we work
- Each plant is checked, cleaned and packed by hand before shipping.
- We photograph the actual plant (or a very close sister plant) honestly – no heavy editing or unrealistic colours.
- Within 24 hours of purchase we send you a photo of the exact plant.
- If we notice a serious change in condition before shipping, we will contact you honestly and may suggest a replacement or cancellation.
Packaging & Mail Order Packs
To keep plants safe in transit, we use mail order packs and packaging that hold the pot securely and protect foliage. Some materials are reused or recycled where possible to reduce waste.
The sample packaging photos on this page are for illustration. We may update materials and details over time as we improve our packing process.
Fresh-cut plants
We also offer fresh-cut plants (cuttings) for people who enjoy propagation, or who want to own rare plants at a more accessible price.
For each cutting we describe the leaf condition and rooting status as honestly as possible. Because cuttings are delicate and intended for propagation, we treat them with extra care when packing and shipping.

Plants are living things, not just “products”. If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to support you.
